For this recessed ceiling project, we chose to highlight the lighting and depth elements. Before we began, the dramatic ceiling feature was lost in beige paint. Plus, the lighting feature blended into the paint color and was lost in the space.
Our team started the project by taping off the surrounding ceiling and covering the lighting fixture. We highlighted the ceiling recess with a lighter paint color. This also helped open up the room and create the look of a larger space. Then, we tackle the lighting fixture. The glass covering got a brand new look. With the deeper coloring and texturizing, the lighting now stands out from the surrounding ceiling.
